I've mentioned I got a Kindle Paperwhite for Christmas last year, and it's one of the best presents I've ever gotten!

My original post wasn't working out, so I guess today's post will be a vocab lesson.  I get the dictionary.com Word of the Day emails and this particular word was the Word of the Day for Friday last week.

Heroes

What makes a true hero?

Someone who risks everything for another.  Whether it's someone they know and love or a complete stranger.  It's those who will lay down their life for someone else and not bat an eye.  Or the person who gives all of what they have to help someone in need.

Goodreads

Goodreads is probably my favorite site on the Internet.  I don't have Facebook and I hardly use my Twitter account, so it's really my only social networking site.  Other than my blog, I don't tend to interact much over the internet with people.
