It's 17ยบ outside. Cold. Bitter cold.
It's not the kind of cold I like. The kind of cold where it's good to go snowboarding out. Sure, I've done it before and others
do it all the time, but not today.
It doesn't help that it's overcast - that makes it seem colder. There's no sun to warm up the earth or to shine through our windows to help heat the house.
I'm huddled under blankets.
And drinking hot chocolate.
Is it hot chocolate or hot cocoa? Does it matter?
It's starting to get dark now, so it's going to get even colder. I would say it's time to get into PJ's and get something hot to drink while sitting under a blanket, but I'm ahead of the game.
All I need now is a book.
